Let Loose

My typical scrapbooking process involves lots of cutting straight lines, carefully placing  letter stickers, and aligning things in straight rows with even margins, but sometimes it's super inspiring to watch someone just play on a blank canvas. Check out this sped-up video of an art journaling session with mixed media artist Julie Fei-Fan Balzer:

Oh, god, can you imagine if you and I did this? It'd be, like, choose pictures, look at TV, choose paper, take a drink, round picture corners, answer a few texts, tape one picture on page, poo, tape another picture on page, eat cookie dough, decide we hate everything we've done so far, watch an entire movie, start over.

You just described my sewing afternoons.
It's even worse when we scrap at Archiver's. It would be the same, except it would also include getting up to go shopping and leaving to eat at Cheesecake Factory.
