Fun with Plagiarism

I saw these cards on a scrapbook blog this morning, and inspiration hit. See the layered flower embellishments in the middle of the card on the left? And the adorable doodled border on the bottom one?

I shamelessly stole them to make Dan this card for our one-year wedding anniversary:

A little layering, a little stamping, some rub-on letters, and a doodle. I'm so thankful for plagiarism! (Or, "scraplifting", for those who follow papercrafting culture.)

I can't believe you made that. It's so beautiful and perfect and everything I wish I could make. I shall never scrapbook again, now that I see what a poor scrapper I am (was). There is no hope for me!

Thanks for the compliment, but don't say that! There's no such thing as a poor scrapbooker. And you can make anything when you decide to steal ideas from websites like I do.

If you like the little frame and flower embellishments I used, they can be found here:

I can totally tell that's scraplifted, because it doesn't look like your style at alllllll. I like that you evidently have a "voice" in my eyes.

I know, right? I think the inside is much more my style than the outside, but it was fun to make nonetheless.
